John Seidle

DR. JOHN SEIDLE is a Senior Reservoir Engineer with Sproule, a global energy consulting and advisory firm and has 40 years' experience in unconventional reservoirs. His conventional and unconventional reservoir experience includes exploration, development, production optimization, and enhanced recovery projects in the USA, Canada, Australia, India, Poland, South Africa, Colombia, Turkey, United Kingdom, Mexico, China, Kazakhstan, and Mongolia. Dr. Seidle's unconventional reservoir experience includes estimation of Reserves and Resources, economic evaluations for investors and A&D transactions, and expert witness testimony for litigation and regulatory agencies.

He has taught industry classes for over a decade. He has co-authored 30 technical papers, a monograph on coalbed methane reservoir engineering, and was editor and chapter author for SPEE Monograph 4 'Estimating Ultimate Recovery of Developed Wells in Low-Permeability Reservoirs.' John is a Registered Professional Engineer in Colorado, Oklahoma, and Wyoming and a member of SPE, SPEE, and AAPG. He received a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado.
