Michael Webster

MR. MICHAEL WEBSTER is a Senior Petrophysics Specialist with over 34 years' experience in the oil and gas industry covering all aspects of petrophysics from exploration and appraisal, to producing mature giant fields. Mr. Webster has specialized in leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing large petrophysical projects. He is an experienced coach and mentor that is keen on developing people technically. He is a strategic thinker with good technical and commercial awareness and strong negotiating skills. He has strong technical leadership skills particularly in petrophysical reservoir description, complex numerical modelling and problem solving. Mr. Webster is skilled with static and dynamic model building for in place volume and reserves estimation. He is highly experienced in well and reservoir surveillance including all aspects of sensor technology and is a skilled problem solver particularly with geological and petrophysical data sets. He is experienced in training international workforces. Mr. Webster has good interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well at all levels of an organization. He is a good communicator with professional public speaking and presentation experience. Mr. Webster has a Master of Petroleum Engineering from Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh and a BSc (Hons) in Geology from University of Aberdeen.
